Terms & Conditions
Clear, straightforward rules for using EVDecisions — whether you're exploring electric vehicles, comparing your options, listing a vehicle, running a vendor store or shopping through our marketplace.
Welcome to EVDecisions. Here's how things work when you use our site — whether you're reading up on EVs, using our tools, listing a vehicle, becoming a vendor, or buying something from our store.
By using EVDecisions (evdecisions.com) — creating an account, posting a listing, registering as a vendor, or placing an order — you're agreeing to the terms that apply to that activity. If something here doesn't work for you, please don't use that particular part of the site.
Throughout this page, "EVDecisions," "we," and "us" refer to the platform and its team. "You" means anyone using the site. "Vendor" or "seller" means someone approved to sell through our marketplace.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account, submit a listing, register as a vendor, or place an order on EVDecisions.
1. What EVDecisions Does
We're a Pakistan-focused platform for everything EV — built around:
- Electric car, bike, scooter and other EV information.
- Specifications, pricing, comparisons and reviews.
- A savings calculator for running costs.
- Charging-station information and maps.
- Used and new EV listings from individuals and businesses.
- Vendor stores selling EV-related products.
- EV news and educational content.
We're always improving, which means features may be added, changed, or occasionally retired. We'll do this responsibly and in line with any commitments we've already made.
2. Using EVDecisions Fairly
We just ask that you use the site honestly. Please don't:
- Post false or misleading information.
- Pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent a vehicle or business.
- Upload stolen, unlawful, or unauthorised content.
- Use the platform to scam, harass, or mislead others.
- Try to access accounts or features that aren't yours.
- Upload malware or harmful files.
- Scrape or commercially reuse our content without permission.
- Fake reviews, ratings, or enquiries.
- Use the platform for anything illegal.
You're responsible for keeping your account secure. If you think someone else has access to it, let us know.
3. About the EV Info, Prices & Specs You'll Find Here
We try hard to keep EV information accurate and genuinely useful — but specifications, prices, range figures, and availability change often, sometimes week to week, and not always from us. Some information comes from manufacturers, dealers, vendors, or public sources we haven't independently verified.
A few honest truths worth knowing:
- A manufacturer's claimed range is a lab figure, not a promise — real-world range depends on speed, weather, load, terrain, and how you drive.
- Charging times vary by charger type, battery size, temperature, and the vehicle's own charging limits.
- Prices, taxes, and financing terms can shift.
- Battery warranty and specifications should always be confirmed directly with the manufacturer or dealer.
Before you buy, check the latest price, specifications, and warranty with an authorised dealer. We do our best, but we can't promise every detail on this site is current or error-free.
4. Our Reviews & Comparisons
Our guides, comparisons, and recommendations are here to help you think things through — not to tell you what's "right" for you. Your budget, commute, charging access, and needs are unique, and only you can weigh those properly.
User-submitted reviews reflect that person's own experience and opinion — we don't necessarily agree with every word of them. Always double-check anything important before you buy.
5. Savings Calculator & Other Tools
Our calculators estimate things like electricity costs and potential savings versus petrol — based on the numbers you enter and some reasonable assumptions behind the scenes.
Real-world savings can differ based on electricity tariffs, fuel prices, how you charge, maintenance, and battery wear over time. Treat these as a helpful estimate, not a financial guarantee — and make sure the inputs you give reflect your actual situation.
6. Buying & Selling Used EVs on Our Marketplace
Anyone — individuals or businesses — can list a used electric car, bike, scooter, or other EV here.
Unless we say otherwise for a specific listing, think of EVDecisions as the introduction, not the transaction. We're not the seller, buyer, inspector, or guarantor of any vehicle listed by someone else.
If you're buying, please:
- Verify who you're actually dealing with.
- Inspect the vehicle yourself, and check ownership and registration papers.
- Get an independent inspection if you can.
- Check battery health, odometer, accident history, and warranty.
- Confirm final price and any outstanding dues before transferring ownership.
- Never send advance payment to someone you haven't verified.
- Use secure payment methods and proper documentation.
If you're selling, please:
- Only list a vehicle you actually have the right to sell.
- Be honest about condition, mileage, battery health, and known issues.
- Use real photos — not stock images or someone else's.
- Update or remove your listing once it's sold.
- Respond to buyers honestly.
We can't guarantee a private seller's identity, the vehicle's actual condition, or that a transaction will go smoothly — that's on both parties to work out directly. We do, however, remove listings that look fraudulent, unlawful, or clearly misleading.
7. Becoming a Vendor
Businesses and eligible sellers can apply for a vendor store on EVDecisions.
Applying doesn't automatically mean you're approved — we may review your application, ask for documentation, or verify your business before granting access.
As a vendor, we'll ask you to:
- Give us accurate registration and contact details.
- Keep your store information up to date.
- Provide documents we reasonably need for verification.
- Keep your login secure.
- Follow our listing, order, and payment guidelines.
- Let us know if something major changes about your business.
Being approved as a vendor doesn't mean we're vouching for your business financially — that responsibility stays with you.
8. Founding Seller Offer — First 50 Approved Sellers
To say thanks to our earliest vendors, we're offering something special.
8.1 The offer
If you're one of the first 50 sellers approved under this promotion, you'll get 0% marketplace commission for 12 months — starting from your own approval date, not the date you first visited the site or applied.
8.2 Who qualifies
To qualify, you'll need to:
- Be among the first 50 sellers actually approved under the promotion.
- Complete the full vendor registration and approval process.
- Follow these terms and our vendor requirements.
- Submit honest, non-duplicate registration information.
We'll track eligibility using our own registration records. We'd suggest keeping your written approval confirmation somewhere safe, along with your start and end dates.
8.3 What "0% commission" actually covers
This waives our marketplace commission on your qualifying sales during the promo period. It doesn't cover payment processing fees, bank charges, taxes, delivery costs, optional paid promotions, or refunds — those still apply as normal. It also doesn't guarantee any particular number of sales or earnings — that part's still up to the market.
8.4 If we need to change the offer
We may need to adjust, pause, or close this promotion — including changing dates or how many spots are available — especially if we spot fraud or a serious breach of these terms by a specific seller. If that happens to spots not yet confirmed, we'll apply any changes going forward, not retroactively to sellers already locked in. Anything already confirmed in writing for an approved seller stays honoured, exactly as agreed.
8.5 When the 12 months ends
Once your promotional year wraps up, our standard commission and fees kick back in, based on whatever fee schedule is active at that time. We'll make sure you can see those terms clearly before they apply to you.
9. What We Expect From Vendors
If you're selling through EVDecisions, you're responsible for what you sell.
Please:
- Describe your products honestly, with real images.
- Clearly state prices, taxes, delivery charges, and availability.
- Only sell things you're legally allowed to sell.
- Honour the orders you accept.
- Handle customer questions and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Give accurate warranty and return information.
- Never sell counterfeit, stolen, or unlawfully sourced products.
- Follow Pakistan's consumer protection, tax, and product safety laws.
We may step in — reviewing complaints, restricting a listing, or pausing selling privileges — if something looks off.
10. Orders, Payments & Payouts
When someone buys through our store, the checkout terms shown at that time apply, alongside these Terms and the law.
How an order is accepted, paid for, delivered, refunded, or cancelled can depend on the product, the vendor, and the payment method used. Vendors need to keep their payout details accurate and complete any verification we ask for before funds are released.
Seeing a balance in your vendor dashboard doesn't automatically mean it's ready to withdraw — there may be verification steps or dispute resolution first. We can't promise a certain level of sales or guarantee payout timing where that depends on outside providers.
Note: These payment and payout rules are for store purchases through vendor accounts — not for private classified listings, where buyers and sellers handle payment directly between themselves.
11. Delivery, Returns & Refunds
For store purchases, vendors need to clearly share their delivery, return, and refund policies before you buy.
Refunds aren't automatic for every situation — it depends on the product, the seller's policy, and the reason for the request. If you have an issue with a store order, reach out to the vendor first, and email us at info@evdecisions.com if you need more help.
This section is about store orders specifically — private marketplace deals are between the buyer and seller directly, so it's worth agreeing on inspection, payment, and handover details before you proceed.
12. Running the Marketplace
We give vendors tools to manage their stores, products, and orders. Some features may depend on approval status or technical availability.
If something needs fixing — inaccurate content, a complaint, suspected fraud — we may step in to correct, restrict, or (where necessary) suspend an account. We'll try to give notice where we reasonably can, but may act quickly if there's a real risk to users or a legal requirement to do so.
Vendors should keep their own records of products, orders, customers, and taxes — that responsibility doesn't shift to us.
13. Content You Submit
If you post a review, comment, photo, or listing, you're confirming it's yours to share and doesn't violate anyone else's rights.
Please don't post anything defamatory, fraudulent, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise unlawful.
You keep ownership of what you post. By submitting it, you're giving us permission to host, display, and share it as part of running and promoting EVDecisions — nothing more than that.
We may edit for formatting, or remove content that breaks these rules or creates a safety or legal issue.
14. Our Brand & Content
EVDecisions' name, branding, design, and original written content are ours, protected under applicable law.
Feel free to link to our pages — we're happy to be shared. Just please don't copy, republish, or commercially reuse our content without asking first.
Manufacturer names, vehicle trademarks, and vendor logos belong to their respective owners. Their appearance here doesn't imply they've endorsed or partnered with us.
15. Other Sites We Link To
We sometimes link out to manufacturers, dealers, payment providers, maps, or social platforms. Those sites have their own rules, and we're not responsible for what happens on them — so it's worth checking their terms before you share information or make a payment there.
16. Your Privacy
How we handle your personal information is covered in our separate Privacy Policy — please give that a read before registering, listing a vehicle, applying as a vendor, or placing an order.
17. If an Account Needs to Be Closed
You're free to stop using EVDecisions whenever you like. Closing your account may still involve wrapping up any outstanding orders or legal obligations first.
On our side, we may restrict or close an account if we see fraud, unlawful activity, serious rule-breaking, or abuse of a promotional offer. Where we reasonably can, we'll give notice first — but we may act immediately if it's needed to protect other users or meet a legal requirement.
Closing an account doesn't erase obligations that existed before it closed — like unpaid dues or accepted orders.
18. The Fine Print on Liability
We provide EVDecisions' information and marketplace tools on an "as available" basis, to the extent the law allows. We can't promise the site will never go down, that every listing is accurate, or guarantee a particular outcome from using it.
Facilitating a connection between a buyer and seller doesn't make us responsible for what happens in that private transaction — that's between the two of you.
Nothing here limits any legal right that can't be limited by law — including consumer protections that always apply regardless of what's written here.
19. If Something Goes Wrong Because of You
If you — as a user or vendor — cause real harm through unlawful conduct, fraud, misleading content, or a serious breach of these terms, you may be responsible for the resulting losses or costs, as far as the law allows.
That said, this never applies to losses caused by our own conduct, where the law doesn't allow that responsibility to shift to you.
20. When These Terms Change
We'll update this page whenever our services, legal requirements, or business practices evolve. The latest version will always be here, with an updated date at the top.
If a change is big enough that the law requires special notice or your fresh consent, we'll handle that properly — simply continuing to use the site won't be treated as agreement in those cases.
Otherwise, it's worth checking back here occasionally, since continuing to use EVDecisions after a smaller update means you're accepting the new terms.
21. Governing Law
These terms are built around the laws of Pakistan, alongside any legal rights that can't be signed away.
If something's bothering you — a listing, a vendor, anything about the site — please reach out to us first. Most things can be sorted out directly, and nothing here stops you from going to a court or regulator if that's ultimately needed.
22. Get in Touch
Questions about these terms, a listing, your vendor account, a store order, or the Founding Seller Offer?
We're happy to hear from you.
